The steel structure of Uzbekistan calendering project of Mingyuan Silk Road (Tianjin) Industrial Co., Ltd. completed domestic production and was ready for shipment.

Mingyuan Silk Road (Tianjin) Industrial Co., Ltd. invested in the glass manufacturing and deep processing project in Gizak, Uzbekistan, with a total investment of 110 million US dollars. The first phase of the project is two 150t/d high-quality calendered glass production lines. Our company is a supporting partner of the first phase project.

The first phase of the project undertaken by our company is the production and installation of kiln steel structure, brick structure construction and hot air baking. The project started in December 2016. According to the requirements of Tianjin Mingyuan Silk Road Company, the company made the steel structure in advance in our processing plant. Considering the difficulty of shipping, the total length of all steel structures shall not exceed 12m. Some kiln columns need to be shipped to the site before splicing.

At present, the production of steel structure has been completed and sorted. In order to facilitate hoisting, all steel structures are packed and bundled according to the weight of the monomer. Attached plates of steel structure and other small pieces of steel structure, such as hand irons and jacking wires, shall be classified, packaged and boxed. All steel structure components with a total weight of about 450 tons have been shipped in China on April 8. It is planned that the steel structure will arrive in Uzbekistan at the end of April. At present, skilled workers and technical management personnel of on-site construction are applying for visas, and construction workers will start on-site construction in mid-May.
